I would like to bring my school’s newly elected officials for 2019 but would like to take advantage of the discounted conference registration rates. Is this possible?

 

Absolutely! If your school has elections prior to COSGA 2019 and would like to register before you know who your newly elected officials will be, we ask that you reach out to us to let us know. You will be required to submit the participant information form for every registered attendee by March 1st, 2019. We will not accept name changes after this deadline.

What time is registration on Friday, March 29th? I need to know what time to schedule my arrival time.

 

On Friday, March 29th, registration will take place at the Norris Conference Center between 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. On Sunday, March 31st, the last event of the conference will be a closing banquet that lasts until midnight.

My school would like to register by mail with a check, is this possible?

 

Yes, of course! Please email assistantdirector@cosga.net to request the “Registration by Mail” form.

What does the price of the conference include?

 

The price of the conference is for a single person in attendance. The price of registration includes all conference materials, COSGA shirt, and the invitation to attend all of the events during the conference including but not limited to keynote speaker presentations, round table discussions, workshops, and networking events. In addition, we provide delegates with one meal per conference day. If you chose to stay at Hotel Sorella, our conference hotel, they provide complimentary continental breakfast included in their room fees. The price of registration does not include travel or lodging expenses but we do have a discounted room block with the Hotel Sorella.

Where will COSGA 2019 be taking place?

 

COSGA 2019 will be taking place at the Norris Conference Centre at CityCentre in Houston, Texas. We have partnered with the hotel adjacent to the conference center, the Hotel Sorella. Hotel Sorella is offering discounted pricing for COSGA attendees who stay at their hotel conference weekend. You may access this discount by making your hotel reservations in one of two ways:

 

1. Call the number 1 (866) 842-0100 and say that you are with COSGA and would like the discounted room price

2. Book your reservations online by clicking this link: COSGA 2019

Thursday (3/28): $179

Friday (3/29): $129

What is COSGA’s Refund & Transfer policy?

 

Cancellations must be received in writing to assistantdirector@cosga.net before 5 pm, CST, on Friday, March 8th, 2019. Those canceling on or before this date will receive a refund minus a $75.00 cancellation fee per participant. Those canceling after 5 pm, CST, on Friday, March 8th, 2019, will forfeit their entire payment. Online payments will be refunded to the credit card provided for payment. Registration is transferable to another individual until 11:59 pm, CST, on March 1st, 2019. If attendee changes are to occur, written notification must be given to assistantdirector@cosga.net by 11:59 pm, CST, on March 1st, 2019 and each attendee must complete the “Participant Information Form” that was sent in the confirmation email after registration.
